Teknia appoints Nieves García as CFO

Elorrio, April 23, 2024.- Teknia, a Spanish multinational specialized in the manufacture of metal and plastic components for mobility, has appointed Nieves García Zalama as CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of the Group. García Zalama, who will report to Teknia’s CEO, Javier Quesada de Luis, joins the Group to lead the financial area at a time of growth for the company. Her professional background has a strong focus on strategy, financial planning, corporate finance, and M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions).

Nieves García joins Teknia after leading the Corporate Finance Department of AVIA Energías, one of the leading independent oil operators in the country, for the last four years. García also has extensive experience in various sectors, highlighting her knowledge on the automotive components sector after having worked in the finance department of CIE Automotive for 17 years.

Teknia seeks to strengthen its financial position after setting the goal of reaching 600 million euros in turnover by 2025 in its ‘Moving Teknia 2025’ strategic plan, which represents an increase of 64% compared to 2022. In addition, the Group seeks to improve its profitability and achieve an EBITDA margin of 13% on sales.
