Teknia in response to new mobility<\/h3>\n
Each of the presentations given is summarised below.\u00a0Rodrigo Mar\u00edn, Group Commercial Director<\/strong>, participated in\u00a0“XX Citizen’s Meeting with Mobility”\u00a0<\/strong>organised by\u00a0Real Autom\u00f3vil Club Vasco Navarro (RACVN)\u00a0and PONS Mobility in Bilbao.<\/p>\n Speaking from the perspective of a major supplier in terms of new mobility, Rodrigo asserted that the meeting was useful for explaining that \u201cTeknia is swiftly adapting to a setting that has changed a lot, consistently aiming to be the strategic partner for mobility manufacturing. That means working closely with our traditional automotive customers, but also adapting to the demands of new stakeholders\u201d.<\/p>\n In turn,\u00a0Antonio J. Orpez, Energy & Facilities Manager at Teknia,<\/strong>\u00a0was in Puertollano (Ciudad Real) at the workshop entitled\u00a0“The Challenge of the Energy Transition at Companies of Castilla-La Mancha”<\/strong>\u00a0organised by Fundaci\u00f3n Repsol, the Council of Official Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services of Castilla-La Mancha and the Regional Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Castilla-La Mancha.<\/p>\n Antonio took part in the round table discussion on \u201cEnergy efficiency, digitalisation and other types of leverage for the ecological transition\u201d, stating that: \u201cTeknia is fully focused on becoming neutral and 100% renewable.\u201d He highlighted the work and the challenge involved in attracting suppliers from across the entire production chain toward the same common goal.<\/p>\n Furthermore,\u00a0Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda S\u00e1nchez, Group Purchasing Manager,<\/strong>\u00a0participated in the\u00a09th<\/sup>\u00a09th Automotive Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Conference\u00a0<\/strong>by AutoRevista. In the seminar entitled “Resilience and flexibility in the face of the perfect storm”, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda pointed out that Teknia \u201cis focused on managing purchasing from a strategic perspective, to gain a competitive advantage at a time in which rising commodities and energy prices are making this function even more relevant than ever before\u201d.<\/p>\n Teknia\u2019s founder,\u00a0Javier Quesada Suescun, received the \u2018Autorevista\u2019 leader of honour award in the Supplier category,\u00a0<\/strong>in the company of his family. This accolade rewards a lifetime of experience devoted to Teknia and to this sector, coinciding with the year in which the company reaches its 30th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary.<\/p>\n At the ceremony, he noted that \u201cthere have been two equally crucial elements at play: my own ambition as a businessman and the ability to adapt to the customers\u2019 needs based on empathy and follow-up as needed\u201d.
