Since joining the company in 1992 as Head of Finance, Lazpita has played an essential role in the expansion, consolidation and professionalisation of Teknia&#8217;s governance, leaving a great legacy in the company.<\/p>\n<p>During this time of transition both in the company and in the automotive industry, Javier Quesada Suescun, founder of Teknia and until now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tekniagroup.com\/en\/javier-quesada-suescun-named-honorary-president\/\">Group\u2019s Honorary President<\/a>, assumes the presidency of the Board of Directors temporarily.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A life dedicated to the automotive industry<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Javier Lazpita dedicated his whole professional life to the automotive industry, working in various companies in the sector in the Basque Country before joining Teknia. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto, and within Teknia he occupied key positions in executive management and on the Board of Directors, playing a key role in the professionalisation of the company&#8217;s governance.<\/p>\n<p>Javier Quesada de Luis, CEO of Teknia, said: \u201cJavier Lazpita has not only been a fundamental pillar in understanding Teknia&#8217;s growth, but also an example of commitment and human values for all of us.
